This was my first time at this restaurant and I can honestly say I was blown away. The interior of this location is very well done and I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. The lighting, the seating and the instant greeting from the employees was a nice change from most restaurants in town.

Hands down best sushi in town. Having been accustomed to the best sushi in LA, it was nice to see this place open up in Bakesfield. Pro chefs serving the finest and freshest. Tasty appetizers and delicious Korean BBQ Beef. Ask for it. Try the David Roll if you can handle it. Drink it down with some beer or wine. Karaoke downstairs if you like.

I went to Yamato Sushi & Bar last month for one of my daughter's birthdays. We loved it so much that my other daughter wanted to go for her birthday. Again the food was excellent, the service was fantastic and the well decorated atmosphere was just beautiful. This is the place to be if you want to have good sushi, a good time and the best part karaoke.
